Views of the island

White sand beaches circle the entire island.  Since the Maldives are a collection of some 1200 islands, no matter where one looks, islands dot the horizon.
The island is pretty much covered by buildings.  Nearly 2000 people live on the island of Holhudhoo.
The island is made from corral, so all the roads are broken pieces of corral.  The island has 3 mosques, many little shops, one health center and the Meyna School which has grades 1 through 12.
When I stand in the middle of the island, I can see water in all directions.  To walk across the island at any point is no more than a five minute walk.
