| White sand beaches circle the entire island. Since the Maldives are a collection of some 1200 islands, no matter where one looks, islands dot the horizon. |

| The island is pretty much covered by buildings. Nearly 2000 people live on the island of Holhudhoo. |

| The island is made from corral, so all the roads are broken pieces of corral. The island has 3 mosques, many little shops, one health center and the Meyna School which has grades 1 through 12. |

| When I stand in the middle of the island, I can see water in all directions. To walk across the island at any point is no more than a five minute walk. |
