Special project at Meynaa School

These two girls, along with many others, were participating in a special project at school.  They were to monitor the air and water temperatures during different times of the day.

At 7:30 in the morning, the air temperature was 28 degrees celcius or 82.4 degrees farenheit

The water temperature however was 28.5 degrees celcius or 83.3 degrees farenheit.

What these temperatures do NOT record  is the humidity which on any given day here on the island runs about 80%.  Without a breeze or wind, it's the high humidity that makes the air feel so very hot and oh so very sticky.

Even with a breeze or wind... it's still hot and sticky!
